Just downloaded the Beta 2 version of Internet Explorer 7 from MS. All looks fine at first sight – so much so that I thought of ditching my favourite Firefox. But on closer examination, I feel IE still needs tuning-up. For one, Firefox is a lot quicker and sturdier.
Firefox is customizable to an amazing extent – the themes, add-ons and not to mention the very handy Bookmark Toolbar that lets access ur fav url in a jiffy. I miss the last item a lot in IE. To be fair to MS, they’ve only released the beta and hopefully they can integrate these and a lot more features in the versions to come.
The positives on IE include the introduction of tabbed browsing (clicking on the appendage next to a tab opens a new tab) – honestly, its better that Firefox-You can even preview them as small panes, a phishing filter that i’m yet to test, a very un-cluttered interface replacing menus with icons and most importantly the ablitity to import all ur favs and preferences from the earlier version of IE.
Goahead and try it. I think u’ll be pleasently surprised by its user-friendliness and style. If u find any inconvinience, lets give it to MS. Its only a beta. Do remember to create a system restore point before installing it.

Well this is one different film. You can get engrossed in it straight-away. Be it the animations or the costumes, Vijay Milton has taken pains to distingush his venture from the other stuff in kollywood. Renuka as Bharath’s mother does a neat act – very refreshing compared to the cliched sentimentalities found in tamil cinema.
The director has used the song sequences to fast-forward the film. The scene where Bharath first meets Mallika (dressed as the Sleeping Princess) and the song sequence when Bharath and Mallika plot ways to cause a break-up between the opposite pair are note-worthy.
Though the climax sounds very real and true, the last 40 minutes of the film meanders on and can really test your patience if you are a action movie buff.
Bottom Line: A refreshing and romantic comedy(?!). Could’ve been a bit shorter.
